Your account

You need an account to design, claim, sell or craft. Keep your password to yourself; you’re responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete it at any time from Settings.

Marks

A Mark is a recipe that renders inside Gradiently. Claiming a Mark gives you an exclusive licence to use it to make and publish designs for as long as the licence is active. It doesn’t transfer ownership of the Gradiently software, the materials or the engine.

Only one person holds a Mark at a time. Licences last a year from the claim and renew yearly at the price shown when you claim. After a licence ends there’s a 30-day grace period, then the Mark returns to the Market. Designs you exported while you held a Mark stay yours to use.

Crafting and selling

Anyone can craft Marks in the Forge. By publishing one you let Gradiently list it for claim at the current claim price and you earn 70% of claims and renewals, plus a 5% royalty on resales.

Holders can sell a Mark on at their own price. The buyer takes over the remaining licence. Gradiently keeps a 5% fee.

Don’t publish Marks that copy someone else’s work or trademarks. We refuse Marks that are too close to existing ones and may remove any Mark that infringes.

Your designs

You own the words and images you put into designs, and you’re responsible for having the rights to them. We store them only to run the service for you.

Payments

Payments are in preview: nothing is charged and nothing is paid out. Amounts shown are recorded so your history is complete when payments go live.
